Join the Ride List
Email us your name and which boat interests you. It is free and commits you to nothing. We send build updates and invite people from the list to ride the prototype when it is on the water.
Reservations Open
Reservations are not open yet, and we take no deposits or payments today. Before we take any money, the full reservation terms will be published on our Terms page and given to you in writing. People on the ride list hear first.
Build Consultation
When you are ready to talk about a boat, we sit down with you to settle the model, layout and options, and confirm the price in writing before any build payment is due.

Straight Answers
Does it cost anything?
No. The ride list is free. We do not take deposits or payments on this site, and we will not take any money until reservation terms are final and in writing.
Can I buy a Trails Edge boat today?
Not yet. The first prototype, the Surge 14, is in development. No boats have been sold or delivered. Join the ride list and we will tell you when that changes.
When can I ride the prototype?
The Surge 14 prototype is targeted to run on the Wapiti River in 2027. That is a target, not a promise. When it is on the water, we will invite people from the list for a ride.
What will a boat cost?
Boat prices will be announced once the prototype has been tested and the build costs are known. We would rather give you a real number than a guess.
Are the speed and range figures guaranteed?
No. Any performance figure for a boat in development is a design target, not a tested result. We will publish measured numbers once the prototype has been tested.
What if I want a Spark, a Current or an Eddy?
The Surge 14 is Boat One, and it comes first. The Spark, Current and Eddy are earlier in development. Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly where they stand.
What do you do with my email?
We use it to send ride-list updates and to reply to you. Nothing else. Reply any time and ask to come off the list.
